“I know, I know.” Being cheeky, Kimmi leaned against the control panel, watching as he fussed over it.
“Maybe there’s a second one, in another room - or a button to reverse the process? Is there an easy way to figure out how to work a control panel like this, or do I have to search for a manual?” Any sort of search now wouldn’t be easy; the fog surrounding them had become so thick and bleak, it was difficult to see at all. Although a little light was coming from the panel, it was of little help.
“It has to be something here…” the Doctor murmured to himself and, like any self-respecting time-travelling genius would, he started pressing random buttons. One here, one there— each one more disappointing than the last. The Doctor frowned in growing frustration, and it was then that he finally turned his attention away from the search to realise— “…Kimmi. Have you noticed a visual impairment?”
